Nothing makes people smile like a well-prepared meal and I’ve always loved to make people smile.
I love pretty food and the theatre of creating it, and because I’ve always been an entertainer – the life of the party, I try to inject my personality into my cooking – creating beautiful meals that make people happy.
As a self-taught chef, I have learned everything I know about food and cooking from watching international chefs like Gordon Ramsey, and amazing local chefs such as Neill Anthony (The Private Chef), Chef Stephen Mandes (Winner of the Ultimate Braai Master).
Seeing what my food does for people and watching the joy as they eat it is what keeps me going, and the aim of my business is to create very good food at an affordable price in the most convenient way – be it at home, in the office or wherever you are
The ultimate goal is to one day have my own food truck or trailer, because a restaurant is too restrictive. With a restaurant, you’re stuck in one place, but with a food truck I can take my food to the people.

Food should be an experience, and our food definitely is. 95% of our dishes are prepared outdoors. Cooking on the coals or on a kettle grill creates a deeper, more complex flavour, and experimenting with different flavours and cooking methods is a true passion of mine.
Cooking with French oak sawdust, wood chips and flavoured tea leaves, as well as a variety of herbs creates a better flavour profile, allowing me to create truly beautiful and flavourful dishes.
